ABOUT SOPHIA

I’m interested in how people move, where they hold tension, how they adapt, and what changes when movement is approached with more attention and less pressure. Rather than asking people to fit themselves into one method, I draw from yoga, Pilates, mobility, breathwork, gentle strength, and assisted stretching to create movement that responds to the person in front of me.

My background spans movement, behavioral health, photography, and psychology, and each of those influences how I work. I tend to notice structure, patterns, compensation, space, effort, and the small details that can change how movement feels. That perspective has become central to Solid Ground: real bodies, real needs, and support that is individualized rather than prescribed.

I work with people who want to feel less stiff, move with more ease, build strength and mobility, recover better, and stay capable in the things they care about — whether that means everyday life, work, training, or sport.

My approach is calm, observant, and adaptable. There is room for challenge, but never for pressure for pressure’s sake. The goal is not to perform movement perfectly. It is to help you understand your body, build trust in how you move, and find the support that helps you do more of what matters to you.
